Being an Investor Has Never Been Easier

You may be aware that it has been an…interesting week for Snapchat.  Despite its initial public offering (IPO) valuing the company at an extremely heady level, investors piled in to own a piece of the hot new tech stock.  This week marked its first earnings report and, suffice it to say, analysts were not impressed.  As a result the stock price dropped by almost a quarter.  So this got me to thinking.  Is it easier, or harder than ever, to be an investor?
