Hello there. I’m Chriss, owner of The British Investor.

I have been active (financially or academically) in the investing game for over a decade, and wanted to use this site to document my thoughts and by extension hopefully help others on their investing journey.

My own journey began with The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing by Jason Kelly. A fantastic book covering the basics of the investment world. From there I moved on to Ben Graham’s The Intelligent Investor and after that there was no turning back!

Aside from writing I also endeavour to read investing and finance related books as often as I can, and will periodically put recommendations on my Recommended Reading page. I am also a keen listener of podcasts, with my favourite ones appearing on my Recommended Listening page.
